I have been anxiously awaiting to blog about Galina and Misha's wedding. I wanted to share this video recap with my blog post (courtesy of Blue Shore Productions...thanks Jeremy!).
The beautiful traditional ceremony was held at Temple Beth El in Hallandale. It was a beautiful and romantic scene. Flowers by Tony did a magnificent job with the decor. The reception was held at Tatiana Restaurant in Hallandale (a hidden gem of South Florida...I highly recommend you check it out. It is a great place to spend a fun evening of great food and amazing entertainment...like a mini Cirque de Soleil). The room was exquisite and had a very grand feel to it. The staff did a wonderful job, the food was delicious and the show was unbelievable...definitely a first for me to witness at a wedding. Talk about "entertainment"! This was a wedding that ranks pretty high in my "top weddings list". Galina and Misha and their friends and family were a joy to be around...there was so much love in the room...and what a fun group of people they are. It was a wonderful event!
I had the joy of working with the Munoz brothers of Munoz Photography - a very fun and talented group of photographers to work with. (on a side note, they will be shooting my upcoming nuptials this summer in Greece!). Jeremy of Blue Shore Productions did the video (you have a teaser below to see his outstanding work) and was also a joy to work with. What a fun time we had.
Galina and Misha...may your lives always be full of love and excitement as it was on your wedding day. Mazel Tov!
Enjoy the video....

"Love Birds" Robin and Gaby MARRIED!!
What a way to spend Valentine's Day (which in my opinion should be every day not just February 14th!). Beautiful setting of Key Biscayne, beautiful sunny South Florida weather, wonderful family and friends, and most of all a BEAUTIFUL couple becoming husband and wife and embarking on what will be the most important journey of their lives. There are no words to describe how amazing I think Robin and Gaby are and the joy I feel for them.
To honor Gaby's Cuban heritage and to go along with the casual yet elegant beach theme, the groom and groomsmen wore guayabera's. Robin wore a custom made guayabera-inspired gown that looked AMAZING on her. She was truly breathtaking! Robin's jewish faith was also honored and incorporated into the ceremony, along with Gaby's Catholic faith. They could not have asked for a better day to get married, the weather was amazing, not too windy, not too hot...it was PERFECT. The staff at The Links were wonderful to work with. The food was amazing and the room looked beautiful. It really set the tone for the day...unique, exquisite and simply divine, words I would use to describe the happy couple themselves. I would like to share that the centerpieces (you will see below in the video recap and slideshow) were made by the bride herself! Impressive, right? She is incredibly talented! Every aspect of this wedding really spoke to who Robin and Gaby are as individuals and as a couple, which made the event that much more special. From the unique "place-rock"s, to the photo album guest book, and DELICIOUS cupcakes by Misha. I love to see couples incorporate a little bit of themselves into their wedding.
DJ Bank of Jammin Express had the party going ALL NIGHT! I must say, it is ranked pretty high in my "most fun wedding" list (and I have been to my fair share of weddings! LOL). I can't wait to see the pro pics (Gastelbondo Photography) and video (Senderey Video Productions). (Robin and Gaby...I am waiting for the invite for "wedding video" night! LOL)

Eli and Guille...MARRIED!!!
Well....it has been a while, but I am back to get my "blogging on". Here is a wedding from December 12, 2008...and what a FABULOUS event it was.
Eli and Guille were a joy to work with from the start. There was definitely a connection between us. The mood throughout the whole evening was one of pure blissful happiness and a whole lot of LOVE. The dim candlelight and fabulous warm uplighting done by DJ Ubi really set the tone. Of course the DJ had the music happening so that the dance floor was packed all night. Overall it was a beautiful and fun evening. Many wishes for much happiness to the happy couple!!

Brooke & Garret...Lucky in LOVE & Married!!
Brooke and Garret picked such a beautiful place to get married on the most perfect cool November night! The American Orchid Society is absolutely breathtaking, from the the waterfalls, fountains, luscious green surroundings, ponds...simply beautiful. J Morgan Flowers did a fabulous job keeping the flower decor simple and elegant to complement this natural beauty and added a TON of candles ALL OVER to really set the mood. The food was excellent thanks to Hugo's Gourmet Catering. I am looking forward to seeing pro pics from Eric Kovacs.

I am so happy for them. I had a BLAST (thanks to the mother and father of the bride, father of the groom, bride and her friends dragging me to the dance floor late in the evening. I promised Brooke I would dance with her when my "work" was done, per her request), sometimes I wonder it is too good to be true when I work because I have too much fun....I LOVE what I do and clients like Brooke and Garret make it so much easier. I wish you both all the happiness in the world and a BIG CONGRATS on your BEAUTIFUL wedding!
They are their Honeymoon Cruise as we speak...please enjoy the slide show for some teasers :)

Alyse and Michael...MARRIED!!!
I have been MIA lately, I do apologize to my loyal blog followers.
Alyse and Mike's wedding could not have gone any better! The weather was beautiful and the day went without a single "hiccup". What an amazing couple I had the honor to work with, and I can see how strong they are in their faith and how strong they are together as a couple and know they will have a rock solid marriage for many, many years to come. They are truly perfect for each other and I could not be happier for them.
The theme of this wedding was elegant, sophisticated, modern, romantic and FUN!!! From the simple black and white color scheme, with a hint of polka dot design (notice my dress...I like to "blend" with the crowd and always make sure to dress my best as if I was attending the event...I try to "match" the theme if I can, Alyse and I have a similar sense of style and when I told her I had the "perfect" b/w polka dot dress she loved the idea! LOL) and feathers to add to the modern look, to the dim candlel-lit room that was filled with amazing energy, especially during the garter removal to the FSU war chant. (even for this Gator fan over here LOL). You had to be there! Alyse looked STUNNING (lucky Mike! hee hee). The church was beautiful and the venue was superb. The DJ kept that dance floor packed all night...what an amazing group of family and friends :) Creations by DP did a fabulous job designing the place card votives, menus and programs to match the invitations they ordered from Alaun by Design. The Sun Trolley transportation was AWESOME! What a unique way to get around! Check out Carmen's blog for a beautiful "teaser" of the newlyweds. I can't wait to see the rest!
Alyse and Mike...may your lives be full of love, passion, happy memories and may each and every day be as fun as it was on your wedding night!
Enjoy the slideshow...

It all started on a hammock...Jessica and Anu Married!!!

Reception Details

Rehearsal Dinner Details
What can I say? Jessica and Anu were a joy to work with from day 1 and I was so honored to be a part of this very important day for them! They live in NYC and decided on having a destination wedding here in sunny South Florida.
You may want to know what I mean by "it all started on a hammock"...well, that is truly where it all began...they shared their first kiss on a hammock and Anu proposed to Jessica on that same hammock. How romantic? You will see a picture below of the "cool" surprise Jessica sister's Jaynie had waiting for them aboard the yacht....a HUGE Hammock ice sculpture, personalized with their names. So sweet. Romance and love was the theme and feel of the wedding :)
Jessica and Anu dreamed of having a beach ceremony and yacht reception. Their dream and vision of their wedding became a reality. We could not have chosen a better location for both. The ceremony was held at The Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach, FL and the yacht was The Venetian Lady, what a fabulous hotel and gorgeous yacht! The service and staff of each was impeccable. I highly recommend them. The elements of their wedding were so unique to them as a couple in every aspect of the wedding related weekend. This is one thing I advise all my clients, make it personal TO YOU! It's YOUR DAY!
The rehearsal dinner was held at the Trump Resort the night before the wedding. The room was glowing with amber uplighting provided by Triple C Entertainment, beautiful crushed gold linens provided by the hotel, mahogany chiavari chairs provided by Hitched Event Rentals, flowers were done by J Morgan Flowers. It was a very romantic and warm atmosphere. The theme was "Places We Have Traveled To"...France, India, Orlando, Texas, were amongst some of the places (let me tell you, this couple has traveled A LOT in this last year! LOL) The couple prepared a fun questionnaire that each guest had to answer. The winner of each table won a prize specific to the table name/place they traveled to (ie. Orlando got a Disney Store gift card, France got a bottle of perfume, etc.) It was such a fun activity and the couple had a chance to walk around and interact with their guests. The "sign in book" was a vase the couple painted and personalized at Color Me Mine. The couple also painted a platter with a bride and groom on it for the reception "sign in book"
The day started out a little rainy and gloomy, but no cloud or rain drop in the sky could bring down this bride and groom! Their love and faith cleared the skies and the sun was beaming down on them as they shared their personally written vows and became husband and wife. Let me tell you, I have never met a more emotional and sentimental groom like Anu....his love and devotion to his soon to be bride was undeniable. And Jessica....it was as if she walked out of a fairytale...she was gorgeous! I was truly AMAZED by the power of LOVE. Hair and makeup was provided by Faceworks International, the girls all looked stunning! J Morgan Flowers provided the flowers/decor for the ceremony and reception. The bride wanted to have bagel bites and krispy kreme donuts (leave it up to your wedding planner to have fresh hot donuts!) Both were a hit! I had the honor of watching the couple practice their first dance and first song he night before (yes, first song, they sang to each other, "Come What May" by Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor). The first dance was choreographed, started slow and then became upbeat. The bride had a little wardrobe change into a shorter skirt. (Her dress was custom made). It was a phenomenal performance. Carlos Periu of Triple C Entertainment really did a great job of keeping the party alive all night! The newlyweds and their guests moved to the upper deck and were dancing underneath the stars...FABULOUS!
Cakes by Edda did a fantastic job with the beautifully embellished "fleur de lis" theme cake that matched the wedding invitations. Hitched Event Rentals provided the gold chiavari chairs. The crew of the Venetian Lady went above and beyond with their service and the food (all prepared onboard) was phenomenal! I highly recommend all of the vendors.

Amazing Monogram Cake Topper Vendor!
Nowadays we see a lot of the monogram cake toppers used to decorate the top of the wedding cake as oppose to the little "bride and groom" figurines that we used to see . This is also a beautiful, elegant and sparkly alternative to fresh flowers that can also be used to decorate the cake.
I wanted to take the opportunity to rave about a very talented young lady that I ordered a monogram cake topper from for one of my clients from. She did an outstanding job, in record time. She can do whatever font style you like in a large color selection of Swarovski crystals (mix and match colors if you have a color scheme, see "Stone Guide" below). If you go to a font website like http://www.dafont.com/ and pick the font, or fonts you like (or mix and match the fonts, maybe you like the "J" in one font and the "M" in another, but they both go well together, see picture of example below).
Her name is Aimee Fritz. A bride-to-be herself, getting married in June 2009, she creates these beautiful monogram cake topper masterpieces at very affordable prices. She charges $75 for 3 letter monogram cake toppers with crystals on one side. Should you choose to have both sides decorated, it is $95. These prices include shipping. The large (last name initial) letter is about 5" and the smaller side letters (first name initials) are about 3.5".
You can reach Aimee via email Alf1126@hotmail.com and you can make payments via her PayPal account using that email address.
Here are some pictures:

Again, a HUGE thank you to Aimee for her amazing work and Tara for the great recommendation! I hope this helps all you "bride-to-be's".
